Homemade Dog Treats - Easy Recipes for Dog Treats

Peanut Butter Dog Treats

A lot of dogs just love this stuff, so this will make for some really great treats. Mix together 1/2 cup of peanut butter, 1 and 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour, 1 and 1/2 cups white flour, 1 cup of water, and finally two tablespoons of oil. Cut them into small treat like pieces and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees F.

Oatmeal Dog Treats

Here are some more easy to make homemade dog treats that your dog will surely love. Add and mix together 1 cup of cold water, 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 3 cups of oatmeal, 2 egg yolks, and a tablespoon of parsley. Drop mixture onto cookie sheets by the spoonful and bake them for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F. Your dog will love 'em.

Those aren't your only options, but it's a good start for making your own dog treats. You don't have to worry about preservatives that can hurt your dog's health, and they don't cost much to make.
